The original line-up of UB40 with Ali, Astro and Mickey enjoyed huge success over a period of 30 years from 1979 to 2008, with #1 albums, multiple gold and platinum selling albums, Grammy nominations, 4 worldwide #1 hits and over 70 million in sales. Now reunited again, they continue to take their smooth yet rootsy blend around the world and their live performances never fail to uplift the audience.
UB40's chart hits include Red Red Wine, Cherry Oh Baby, Kingston Town, (I Can't Help) Falling In Love With You, I Got You Babe, One in Ten, Rat in Mi Kitchen, If It Happens Again, Homely Girl…and the list goes on!
New Zealand Hall of Fame inductees, HERBS go back an incredibly long way with UB40, right to the beginning in fact, having supported them on their first visit to New Zealand thirty-five years ago. In 1983, at the famous Sweetwaters Festival, they reconnected once again and UB40 christened the HERBS sound as Pacific reggae.
Our legendary home-grown reggae band formed in 1979 and were acclaimed as "New Zealand's most soulful, heartfelt and consistent contemporary musical voice". In the 1980s and the first half of the '90s, Herbs had 12 top 40 hit singles including French Letter, Sensitive To A Smile and Long Ago. They also worked alongside Taj Mahal, Tina Turner, Neil Young, George Benson and Stevie Wonder.
In 1986, Slice of Heaven with Dave Dobbyn reached #1 on both the New Zealand and Australian charts. In 1989, Tim Finn joined them for Parihaka and, in 1992, Annie Crummer fronted the hit single See What Love Can Do. Today, HERBS feature members Dilworth Karaka, Tama Lundon and Tama Renata with a 1 hour acoustic set jam-packed with the hits you know and love to sing along to.
JASON KERRISON is best known as the frontman for one of our most successful pop/rock acts, OPSHOP. Their platinum selling albums produced hits such as Love Will Always Win, One Day and Maybe. Jason has spent many years at the top of the NZ music scene, enjoying not only commercial success, but also picking up numerous NZ Music Awards, the prestigious APRA Silver Scroll and in 2011 received the NZ Order of Merit for services to music in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
After Opshop decided to take a break, Jason formed the electronica / bass and funk outfit, The Babysitters Circus. In 2011 their unbelievably catchy hit single Everything's Gonna Be Alright wormed its way into the nations head, remaining in the charts for an incredible 35 weeks in NZ and repeating the same success in Holland where it peaked at #7 in the charts.
2012 saw Jason join the judging panel of New Zealand's Got Talent alongside Rachel Hunter and UB40's Ali Campbell. Both Jason and Ali are hugely excited to be reuniting this January for the vineyard tour.

From the tail of the fish to the tip, Aotearoa has been swept up in the music of
TRINITY ROOTS. The influences that the group brought together joined the dots
between head-nodding reggae, slow-burning funk and jazz adventurism. Their recent 3rd Studio album
–'Citizen' has seen the band playing International Festivals (WOMAD NZ 2015, Celtic Connections UK,
Splore, Sundaise) as well as intensive tours throughout Australia & NZ to sell-out audiences.
The recent NZ Music Awards saw the band crowned winners in the Best Roots Album category.
Groove masters THE BLACK SEEDS are bringing their infectious blend of soul, afro-funk and
dub back to Riverside Park. Since forming in the late 90's they have released 6 albums and
solidified their status as one of the best live bands in New Zealand and an essential addition
to any summer festival.
Wellington band TOMORROW PEOPLE went from a humble garage to major festival slots, industry
recognition and an award-winning debut album that fans kept in the charts for over a year!
The 7-piece ‘sunshine reggae’ masters have gone from strength to strength and show no signs of
slowing down. Their new album, BASS AND BASSINETS is out now, so you can get some new infectious
Tomorrow People tunes in your head before summer!
L.A.B is being touted as the ‘next big thing’. Comprised of the popular KORA
brothers Brad and Stu, plus talented jazz guitarist Joel Shadbolt and Sunshine Sound System’s Kyle
Popham (KP), festival-goers should expect high energy electronica meets hard rock, soul and blues.
THREE HOUSES DOWN took out this year’s Vodafone Pacific People’s Choice Best Pacific Artist by
a well-deserved landslide as the 10-piece band is known for stellar live performances. They
fuse Polynesian-inspired vocal harmonies, catchy brass lines, a driving rhythm section and uplifting
lyrics – then rearrange them into something truly original and exciting with just the right dose of pop appeal.
